This utility will calculate the settings for a Harlan-style stripper for tapered spars.
The calculations are based on the following formula:
MicrometerSetting1 = WiderWidth+((((MicCenterDist-WoodLength)/2)*(WiderWidth-NarrowWidth))/WoodLength)
MicrometerSetting2 = MicrometerSetting1-((MicCenterDist/WoodLength)*(WiderWidth-NarrowWidth))
Where:
WiderWidth = Wide end of spar
NarrowWidth = Narrow end of spar
MicCenterDist = Distance between centers on the micrometers
WoodLength = Length of sheet
