This utility will calculate the block size for a give desired pitch, blade
width, and diameter of a propeller...
The calculations allow an additional amount to be entered to the diameter and
width of the propeller... This is due to the nature of a pitch block, in that
the carved block will normally need area larger than the actual diameter and
width of the propeller blades...
A good guideline would be to add at least an inch to the final prop diameter, and 25% to
the width of the actual blade...
The calculations are based on the following formula:
P = 2pi * L * T / W
Where:
P = Pitch of propeller
L = Length of block
T = Thickness of block (height)
W = Width of block
