A range of indoor events is listed for the Australian Nationals in Dec2009/Jan2010 at Albury/Wodonga (between Sydney and Melbourne). Includes F1D and F1L on Sat 2 Jan.
Quoting from the first Nats Bulletin: 'The indoor events will be held at the Albury Stadium having an area suitable for 6 basketball courts.
The ceiling height is approx. 8 metres and the venue has been graded as Class A' (which means Cat I ?).

I don't know if these events go ahead if there are insufficient entries. There isn't a huge F1D following in Australia that I know of - though I have seen competition reports from time to time.
If I can get myself organised and schedule travel and hols I might try to get there.
I've only ever built one F1D (+ a few EZBs and Ministicks etc). And mostly a long time ago. I'd be interested to hear from any Aussie Indoor News members about if they are planning to go etc. And, as I say, if i can get myself organised, will let you know how I go...
